drop “illcandescent”, my debut album in 2k10.
(minus the ‘parental advisory’ label that accompanies the cover art on most all Hip Hop albums, of course)
*I wanna keep this a trend in my music not to knock those that do it, but t’knock the preconceived notion of: “if it’s Hip-Hop, it’s GONNA have cussin’ in it.”
stay tuned for more info as the year unfolds.

Out of four years here, these past couple of days here in Pasadena have been my least favorite. Simply due to the weather. When you get out of the shower, the LAST thing you wanna do is sweat! Not to mention this fire that I can see from in front of my house;air quality’s terrible. Outside smells like Smokey The Bears’s been takin’ a break. As I stated via Twitter some minutes ago, “i think when the rain comes back to Cali, I’m gonna go out & rhyme in it”

If you’ve been keeping up-to-date with my posts/releases, you definitely got a taste of what myself & them Seven Day boys conjured-up Thursday night. Feeling inspired by this DOPE instrumental from ‘Starship 27′ , we got to writing & recording. Stoked by the turnout, a video of the mixing session was quickly recorded, edited, & uploaded. I’d be the 1st to say that we jumped the gun on this one. The response for the track was bittersweet. Use of production w/o permission is seldom a ‘good look’. Luckily, we knew not to release the track without confirmation/permission from the necessary people. I’m still learning the ropes.
